This is part 2 of my birthday [it was July 6th] gift to *Element-Girls. [Part 1 was a piece of writing that can be found here, and part 3 consists of some gifts that are going in the mail tomorrow.] She is absolutely one of the most amazing people I have ever met, and deserves as much as I can give her. <3

Anyway, this is Mir and Ryou from Liz's fic, A Red Rose. Well, actually, this particular scene is, I think, from its not-written-yet sequel. XD Whereas Rose is based off Beauty and the Beast, the sequel-thing is based of Rapunzel, which is why this picture is "Tower" in the challenge. Mir gets locked in her room all the time--well, actually, it's not her room, 'cause she shares a room with her sisters; her stepmom has a separate room she locks Mir in--and through some details I don't want to reveal, she ends up playing card games with Ryou all the time. :XD: For some reason, as seen in this picture, he ends up staying overnight one time... :ohnoes: And I'm not sure why NEITHER of them slept in the bed... but I guess Mir likes the bay window.

Considering I hated this drawing when I started it, it didn't turn out too bad. [And I know it doesn't look like it, but those are pillows Mir's leaning on. I forgot to go back and make them look like pillows. I don't much care. :ohnoes:] I kinda winged it on the shading, but... :XD:

Well, unless i spend a million hours on backgrounds, they look completely horrible! i tried to draw grass in the back of one of my recent pictures...i showed it to my brothers, and they said it looked like everything was on fire ^^;...not exactly what i was going for...

And anyway, I did spend, like, a million hours on that dumb window. :XD: I finally lost patience with it and stopped trying to make the lines line up. ^^;

Mir looks AMAZING!!! I LOVE HER HAIR!!! And all the pillows!!! I think I just got inspired!!! LOL I think I’m going to make Mir obsessed with Pillows like me!!!

Emi: sheesh Mir how many pillows do you have in your bed?
Mir: who knows I can’t sleep with out at least 3 :XD:

I also love how her mouth is open slightly!!! It’s just so cuuuuuuute!!! She looks so peaceful!!! :D and the windowsill is soooo cool!!! I love the shading :heart:

And Bakura!!! He looks soooo cute!!! I want to hug him sooooo bad!!! :love: of course I’ll leave that to Mir :XD: :giggle:

Ahhhhh, I'm so glad you like it!!! :excited: Her face looked terrible until I added the mouth, and then I was like, "YES! That's it! NOW she looks like Mir!" :XD:
PILLOW ADDICTION!!! XD I have so many pillows it's not even funny. Of course, I only sleep with one for my head and one little one to hug sometimes, but they're all piled up in my corner. :XD:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I WANT TO HUG RYOU!!!!!! :ohnoes: :ohnoes:
